Which is better the original expansion packs or Sims2?

I like the original. Sims2 just goes to "real" and it gets to hard and boring. Plus on allot of computers it is very slow and skippy.

I'm not much if a Sims fan, I'm more of the FPS Shooter.
I play CoD4 atm.

There's too much with sims2, and too little with Sims. I like the original better though
